What is a position?
A position is an order that you have for a stock in your portfolio. For example, you have bought 30 shares of LULU. This is a position on LULU.
What do In Order and In trade mean?
You are "In order" when you have an order to buy a stock that is placed on your broker, but that order is not executed yet. This means that your position is not filled yet.
When the order is executed at your broker, you will be long, for example 30 shares of LULU, so you would then be "In trade".
