he daily routine when you have position at your broker (in trade or in order) is the following

  1. You review the analysis of The Stock Butler
  2. You modify your position at your broker
  3. You review for new positions

1. Review the analysis of The Stock Butler

  • Log on if you are not already logged on
  • Go to your "Portfolio" - "Needing your attention" tab
  • Review what The Stock Butler has to say
  • Click on the create order ticket icon so you and The Stock Butler can remember what to modify at your broker's

You repeat this step for each message in the "Needing your attention" tab. If you don't want to act on the  message, you can skip it. It will disappear the next day if the conditions are not satisfied anymore. When you are done, proceed to the next step.

2. Modify your position at your broker

  • Go to the "Order ticket(s) - waiting to be placed" tab
  • Click on the to see the details of the modification and apply these values at your broker
  • Click on "Ok" to inform The Stock Butler that you have applied the modifications at your broker. The Stock Butler will then modify your portfolio according to your indications.

When this is done you can, if you still have money, go to the Watchlist to look for a new position. If you have fully invested, you are done for the day! It's that simple!

3. Review for a new position

  • Go to the Watchlist in the "Ready to buy" tab.
  • Look at every stock to see if you are interested to buy (look at chart, % of getting filled, rating...)
  • Create an order ticket, if you want, on a new position.

The portfolio icon at the end of the line tells you if you are already in that stock. If you want more details you can look at this article on how to use the Watchlist.

Please note that there are no links (except the portfolio icon) between the Portfolio and the Watchlist. The Watchlist will give you, every day, all the stocks that you have in your Watchlist that are ready to buy. The Portfolio tells you what to do with your positions that are "in order" or "in trade" (long) each day.

On the risk management side, neither the Watchlist nor the Portfolio manage your overall risk. The Stock Butler lets you manage your global risk. This means that The Stock Butler will not restrict you to place an order on stocks that  do not have a good Fundamental Analysis or to buy 4 positions on a single stock and get 4% of risk instead of 1% of risk.

The Stock Butler will, like Pro Real Time, give you the information so you can make a trading decision. Obviously the advantage of The Stock Butler over Pro Real Time is that he knows all the rules of Courtney's technique.

He is your personal butler, helping you save a lot of time and make better decisions with your trading. If you want more information on the Weekly routine you can look here.
